The Research Training Group invites applications for

Scholarships for doctoral MD students (Promotionsstipendien für Medizinstudierende). Next scholarships for doctoral MD students are available in April 2022.

Requirements:

• Completion of “1. Ärztliche Prüfung”/Q1
• High motivation and dedication for research in a unique environment in full time (one year which includes preparation of the written thesis)
• Enrollment at HHU

Monthly stipends cover a period of 9 – 12 months (1-2 “Forschungsfreisemester”) for conducting experimental work and preparing the written thesis and include 931 € stipend per month plus 103€ (Sachkostenzuschuss) according to DFG guidelines. You may also contact the coordination office for specific project-related and organizational questions.

• a complete transcript of academic records, including the last school report obtained before entering university (Abitur or equivalent)
